Electrical Installation Lecturer - NNC
Temporary
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber
Start date: August 2026
Are you an experienced electrician looking to pass your trade expertise on to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join an education provider as an Electrical Installation Lecturer, bringing your industry knowledge into the classroom and the workshop and sharing it with learners at every stage of their journey.
You'll deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, supporting students to achieve their best regardless of the challenges they face. Acting as a positive role model, you'll contribute to the provider's offer in this key curriculum area.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering electrical installation sessions to learners, including adult learners.
- Planning and preparing practical workshop and classroom theory sessions.
- Assessing, reviewing and tracking learner progress.
- Maintaining accurate course and student records.
- Supporting students to achieve and progress.
- Acting as a positive role model to students.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification in electrical installation, with industry experience
- Strong practical and technical skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing
