Temporary | Contract
Location: the South West
Start date: 8 October 2026
Are you an experienced early years professional ready to pass your knowledge on to the next generation of practitioners?
About the Role
A further education provider in the South West is looking for an Early Years Lecturer to join its teaching team. You'll deliver engaging, high-quality sessions that help learners build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress into early years careers.
You'll work alongside a supportive team, planning and delivering your teaching, tracking learner progress and giving the constructive feedback that keeps students moving forward.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality teaching and learning across early years qualifications.
- Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Supporting learners to develop the practical skills and confidence required in the sector.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student success.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Relevant qualification in early years or a related field
- Experience of supporting young people to learn and develop new skills
- The ability to work successfully within a team
Desirable (but not essential):
- Recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching in a further education setting
