Early Years Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the Wales
Start date: September 2026
Are you an experienced early years practitioner ready to pass your knowledge on to the next generation of professionals?
About the Role
An education provider in the Wales is looking for an Early Years Lecturer to join its vocational teaching team. You'll deliver engaging, high-quality sessions that help learners build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress into the sector.
You'll work with learners at a range of levels, supporting their development throughout their programme and tracking their progress towards achievement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering lessons across early years qualifications.
- Assessing learners' work and providing clear, constructive feedback.
- Monitoring progress and supporting learners to achieve their qualification.
- Maintaining accurate records in line with awarding body requirements.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in early years or a related subject
- Recent, relevant occupational experience in early years education and care
- Confidence working with learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience of teaching or assessing in a further education setting
