Digital Technologies Lecturer
Temporary
Location: the West Midlands
Start date: 18 September 2026
Are you a digital or IT professional who would enjoy passing your expertise on to the next generation?
About the Role
An education provider is looking for a Digital Technologies Lecturer to join their teaching team. You'll deliver engaging, high-quality sessions that support learners to achieve and progress.
You'll plan and prepare your own materials, assess learners' work and help shape the curriculum as it develops.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing and delivering lessons across digital technologies.
- Assessing learners' work and tracking progress towards their target grades.
- Supporting curriculum development and the preparation of learning materials.
- Maintaining accurate academic and administrative records.
- Providing tutorial support and guidance to learners.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A degree or relevant professional qualification in a digital, computing or IT discipline
- Industry experience and/or technical knowledge in digital technologies
- Confidence in planning, delivering and assessing to awarding body standards
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, Certificate in Education or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
- Experience of teaching in a further education setting
