Curriculum Manager Professional Services
Location: London
About the Role
Are you an experienced leader in professional services education, ready to shape and drive a curriculum that transforms learners' futures?
As Curriculum Manager, you'll take responsibility for the leadership, planning and quality of provision within the professional services curriculum area. You'll set the direction for teaching and learning, ensuring that programmes are relevant, ambitious and aligned to the needs of learners and employers.
Working closely with your team of lecturers and support staff, you'll create an environment where high standards are the norm and every learner is supported to achieve. You'll balance strategic curriculum planning with the day-to-day management that keeps provision running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of the professional services curriculum.
- Managing and supporting a team of lecturers and support staff, including performance and development.
- Monitoring the quality of teaching, learning and assessment across the curriculum area.
- Ensuring programmes meet the needs of learners, employers and awarding bodies.
- Tracking learner progress, achievement and retention, and acting to improve outcomes.
- Contributing to timetabling, resource planning and effective use of the curriculum budget.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant teaching qualification and subject expertise within professional services
- Experience of teaching or leading in a further education or training setting
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
- A strong understanding of curriculum planning, quality and assessment
- A commitment to high standards and positive outcomes for every learner
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of curriculum management or team leadership within professional services
- Knowledge of relevant awarding-body requirements and quality frameworks
- Experience of working with employers to shape provision
