Curriculum Manager - Engineering
Temporary | Contract
Location: the West Midlands
Start date: 19 October 2026
About the Role
A further education provider is looking for an experienced Curriculum Manager to lead its Engineering provision. You'll take responsibility for curriculum delivery across the area, supporting teaching teams and maintaining high standards for learners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the Engineering curriculum area.
- Supporting and developing teaching staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Monitoring teaching, learning, assessment and learner outcomes.
- Overseeing curriculum planning, quality assurance and performance against targets.
- Developing and improving the Engineering curriculum offer.
- Working closely with senior leadership, curriculum teams and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience as a Curriculum Manager, Curriculum Lead, Head of Department, Programme Manager or similar
- A background in Engineering
- Experience of leading and developing teaching teams
- Knowledge of curriculum quality assurance in a further education setting
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification
- Experience of managing performance against recruitment, retention and achievement targets
