Business Lecturer
Temporary
Location: the East of England
Are you a business professional ready to share your expertise with the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider to deliver engaging business lessons to learners working across a range of levels. Your focus will be on bringing the subject to life, helping students build the practical knowledge and skills that employers value.
You'll plan and prepare your own sessions, assess learner work and keep accurate records of progress and achievement. You'll also work alongside colleagues to support students pastorally as well as academically.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across business programmes.
- Planning schemes of work and learning activities that support progression.
- Assessing learner work and providing timely, constructive feedback.
- Monitoring and recording attendance, progress and achievement.
- Creating an inclusive learning environment in which every student can succeed.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in business or a related discipline
- Strong subject knowledge across business topics
- The ability to engage and motivate learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching or training in a further education setting
