Temporary
Location: the South East
Are you an experienced business professional or lecturer ready to share your expertise with the next generation?
About the Role
As a Business Lecturer, you'll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across business programmes for an education provider in the South East. You'll plan and prepare learning that supports every student to progress and achieve.
This is a role for someone who combines solid subject knowledge with the ability to bring the commercial world into the classroom. You'll work alongside a supportive teaching team and help students build the skills and confidence that employers are looking for.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across business courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support student progression and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
- Supporting students to develop their employability prospects alongside their subject knowledge.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or higher in business or a related subject
- Occupational competence and relevant, up-to-date subject knowledge
- A genuine passion for teaching and for passing on your knowledge
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous teaching or training experience
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
