Business Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the South West
Start date: 1 October 2026

About the Role
We're recruiting a Business Lecturer to join a further education provider in the South West. You'll teach and support learners working towards business qualifications, bringing your sector experience into the classroom and helping students build the skills and confidence they need to progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across business programmes.
- Assessing learners' work and giving clear, constructive feedback against assessment criteria.
- Monitoring progress and putting support in place where learners need it.
- Maintaining accurate records of attendance, achievement and progress.
- Creating an inclusive learning environment in which every learner is challenged and supported.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in business or a closely related discipline
- Occupational experience gained in a business environment
- The ability to engage and motivate learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing in further education
