Business Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the West Midlands
Start: October 2026
Are you a business professional or experienced lecturer ready to share your knowledge with the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider delivering business and customer service programmes to learners at a range of levels. Your timetable covers four days a week, teaching Level 1 Customer Service, Level 2 Business, T Level Business and BTEC Business (International Business), alongside tutorial time.
Working with learners of varying ages and abilities, you'll help them build the knowledge, commercial awareness and professional behaviours they need to progress into employment or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging theory and classroom sessions across Level 1 Customer Service, Level 2 Business, T Level Business and BTEC Business programmes.
- Planning lessons, schemes of work and learning resources.
- Assessing learners' work and providing constructive feedback to support progression.
- Tracking learner progress through tutorials and reviews.
- Promoting employability skills and professionalism throughout your teaching.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification or higher in business or a related subject
- Occupational knowledge and experience in business or customer service
- Confidence teaching learners of mixed ages and abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Experience of delivering T Level or BTEC programmes
