Business Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the North West
Start date: September 2026
Are you a business professional or experienced lecturer looking to share your expertise with the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in the North West to deliver high-quality teaching across Business programmes. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help learners build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress into employment or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across Business courses.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities that support student progression and achievement.
- Contributing to curriculum development so content reflects current industry standards.
- Supporting learners in developing their skills and employability prospects.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification or higher in a Business-related subject
- Occupational competence and relevant industry knowledge
- A genuine passion for teaching and passing on knowledge
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous teaching or lecturing experience within further education
- A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
