Business Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber
Start date: 18 September 2026
Are you a business specialist who enjoys helping learners connect theory with the world of work?
About the Role
A further education provider in Yorkshire and the Humber is looking for a Business Lecturer to join its teaching team. You'll plan and deliver engaging business sessions, support learners through their programme and help them achieve the results they need for their next step.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality teaching across business courses.
- Preparing, marking and assessing work in line with awarding body requirements.
- Monitoring learner progress and providing support where it is needed.
- Contributing to curriculum development and the wider work of the teaching team.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong subject knowledge in business
- Confident classroom management and communication skills
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching business in a further education setting
