Business Curriculum Manager
Temporary | Contract
Start date: 17 September 2026
Are you an experienced business curriculum professional ready to take on a leadership role within further education?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider to lead and manage the business curriculum area, overseeing delivery and supporting high standards across the provision.
You'll support and develop teaching staff, monitor the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, and work with colleagues to improve learner progress and outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the business curriculum area.
- Supporting and developing teaching staff to deliver high-quality learning.
- Monitoring teaching, learning and learner outcomes.
- Overseeing curriculum planning, quality and performance.
- Working closely with senior leadership and curriculum teams.
- Supporting the continued development and improvement of business programmes.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong subject knowledge across business programmes
- Experience of curriculum leadership within a further education setting
- Experience of managing, supporting and developing teaching staff
- Understanding of curriculum quality assurance and improvement
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in a role such as Curriculum Manager, Curriculum Lead, Head of Business or Programme Leader
- A teaching qualification
