About the Role

As a Beauty Therapy Lecturer, you'll deliver practical and theory-based teaching that helps learners build the skills, knowledge and professional standards the industry expects. Working with an established education provider, you'll bring your salon experience into the classroom and training salon, supporting learners across a range of levels.

You'll plan and prepare sessions, assess learner progress and create a supportive environment where students can grow in confidence and develop industry-ready practice.

If you don't yet hold a teaching qualification, that's not a barrier. Many successful lecturers come from industry, and you'll be supported with training, mentoring and ongoing development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering practical and theory beauty therapy sessions to learners across a range of levels.
• Planning and preparing lessons and learning resources.
• Assessing learner work and tracking progress towards achievement.
• Supporting learners through tutorials, reviews and one-to-one guidance.
• Maintaining a safe, well-organised salon environment that reflects industry standards.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy
• Industry experience in beauty therapy
• Strong practical and technical knowledge of beauty treatments
• Enthusiasm for supporting and motivating learners

Desirable (but not essential):

• A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
• An assessor qualification
• Previous experience of teaching, assessing or instructing
