Aerospace Engineering Lecturer

Temporary | Contract

Location: the South East

Start date: September 2026

Are you an experienced aerospace engineering professional ready to inspire the next generation of technicians?

About the Role

Working with a further education provider in the South East, you'll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across aerospace engineering programmes, helping learners build the technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours the industry expects.

You'll plan and deliver sessions across classroom and workshop settings, assess and track progress, and support learners through their qualifications and on to employment or further study.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering lessons across aerospace engineering qualifications.
  • Assessing and monitoring learner progress, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Preparing learners for assessments, qualifications and progression into employment.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where learners feel supported to succeed.
  • Working with colleagues across the team to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Relevant qualification in aerospace engineering or a related discipline
  • Industry experience in aerospace or aircraft engineering
  • Strong practical and technical subject knowledge

Desirable (but not essential):

  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience of teaching or assessing in a further education setting
