Are you an experienced aeronautical or avionics engineering professional looking to pass your skills on to the next generation?

About the Role

You'll join the engineering team at a further education provider, delivering teaching, learning and assessment across aeronautical engineering programmes. You'll work with learners in both classroom and practical workshop settings, combining theory with the hands-on skills they need to progress into the industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering theory and practical sessions across aeronautical engineering programmes.
• Planning lessons and preparing resources that meet a range of learner needs.
• Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals.
• Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Level 3 qualification in aeronautical or avionics engineering, or equivalent
• Relevant industry experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine interest in developing others

Desirable (but not essential):

• A recognised teaching qualification
• Previous experience of teaching, assessing or instructing
