Aero Engineering Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Start date: September 2026
Are you an experienced aero engineering professional looking to pass your skills on to the next generation of technicians?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider to deliver aero engineering teaching, combining classroom-based theory with practical workshop sessions. You'll support learners to build the technical skills and confidence they need to progress into the industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across aero engineering programmes.
- Supporting and guiding learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification in aero or avionics engineering, or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge and developing others
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
