Administrator
Temporary
Location: the East of England
Start date: 20 August 2026
About the role
As an Administrator, you'll provide the day-to-day administrative support that keeps a busy further education environment running smoothly. You'll be the person colleagues and learners rely on for accurate records, clear communication and well-organised paperwork.
Working with a further education provider, you'll handle a varied workload, prioritising effectively and keeping on top of deadlines in a lively setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate records and updating systems and spreadsheets.
- Supporting learner and course administration, including registrations and documentation.
- Responding to queries from staff, learners and external contacts.
- Organising meetings, correspondence and general office administration.
What we're looking for
Essential:
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- A good level of digital literacy, including Microsoft Office
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience in a college or wider education setting
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
