Accounting Lecturer
Temporary | Contract | 32.5 Hours per Week
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber
Start date: October 2026

About the Role
We're supporting an education provider to appoint an Accounting Lecturer. You'll plan and deliver teaching across their accounting provision, bringing current professional practice into your sessions and supporting learners through their qualifications.
You'll assess learner work and guide progress towards successful completion and onward employment or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality teaching across accounting programmes.
- Assessing learner work, giving constructive feedback and carrying out progress reviews.
- Supporting learner retention, achievement and progression.
- Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
- Keeping your own subject knowledge and professional practice up to date.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in accounting or a related discipline
- Occupational experience in accounting or finance
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing learners
- Full vetting already in place
