About the Role

We're recruiting a Travel and Tourism Lecturer on behalf of a further education provider in the North West. You'll deliver teaching and assessment across travel and tourism programmes, bringing your own sector experience into the classroom.

You'll plan engaging sessions, support learners through their qualifications and track their progress towards achievement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering sessions across travel and tourism programmes.
• Planning and preparing high-quality teaching, learning and assessment materials.
• Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback.
• Monitoring learner attendance, progress and achievement.
• Supporting learners to progress into employment or further study.
• Contributing to high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A relevant qualification in travel and tourism or a related discipline
• Occupational experience you can bring into your teaching
• The ability to engage and motivate learners of differing abilities

Desirable (but not essential):

• A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
• An assessor qualification
• Previous experience of teaching or training in a further education setting
