Sport and Public Services Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the provider
Are you an experienced sport or public services professional ready to inspire the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join the team at an education provider, delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across Sport and Public Services qualifications and supporting learners to build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for their future careers.
You'll plan and deliver both practical and theory sessions, track learner progress and give constructive feedback as part of a friendly vocational team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging sessions across Sport and Public Services qualifications.
- Delivering practical and theory sessions in line with awarding body requirements.
- Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Tracking achievement across full study programmes.
- Supporting learners to prepare for their next steps into employment or further study.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Relevant qualification in Sport, Public Services or a related field
- Recent, practical experience within sport or the public services
- Ability to deliver engaging practical and theory sessions
Desirable (but not essential):
- Teaching or assessing qualification
- Experience of teaching in a further education setting
