Psychology Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the Wales
Are you a psychology specialist ready to share your subject knowledge with learners taking their first steps into the discipline?
About the Role
An education provider in the Wales is looking for a Psychology Lecturer to join its teaching team. You'll deliver engaging, high-quality sessions that help learners build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress in their studies.
You'll work with learners at a range of levels, supporting their development throughout their programme and tracking their progress towards achievement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering lessons across psychology qualifications.
- Preparing schemes of work, lesson resources and assessments.
- Assessing learners' work and providing clear, constructive feedback.
- Monitoring progress and supporting learners to achieve their qualification.
- Maintaining accurate records in line with awarding body requirements.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in psychology or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge across psychology topics
- Confidence working with learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Experience teaching or assessing in a further education setting
