Are you an experienced plumber looking to pass your trade on to the next generation?

About the Role

You'll join a further education provider in the North West, delivering plumbing training to learners working towards their qualifications. You'll bring your industry experience into every session, teaching in both the workshop and the classroom.

You'll plan and deliver practical and theory sessions, assess learners' work and track their progress, supporting learners across a range of abilities to build real skill and confidence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering practical plumbing sessions and supporting theory lessons.
• Preparing learning resources and assessing learners' work.
• Monitoring learner progress and giving clear, constructive feedback.
• Creating a safe, well-organised and positive workshop environment.
• Working alongside colleagues in the wider curriculum team.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in plumbing
• Substantial practical experience in the trade
• The ability to motivate and engage learners of mixed ability

Desirable (but not essential):

• A teaching or assessing qualification
• Previous experience delivering in a further education setting
