Are you an experienced health and social care professional looking to inspire the next generation of practitioners?
About the Role
A further education provider is looking for a Health and Social Care Lecturer to join their teaching team. You'll deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students working towards health and social care qualifications, bringing your industry knowledge into the classroom.
You'll plan and prepare engaging sessions, assess learner progress and provide the support students need to overcome individual barriers and achieve their goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering lessons across health and social care qualifications.
- Designing schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment schedules.
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where students are stretched and challenged.
- Assessing work, tracking progress and giving constructive feedback.
- Providing tutorial and pastoral support to help learners stay on track.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A relevant qualification in health and social care
- Experience gained in the health or social care sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to helping learners achieve their potential
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience of teaching, training or assessing in further education
If you don't yet hold a teaching qualification, that needn't hold you back — the provider welcomes industry professionals moving into teaching and will support you to gain one.

If you're ready to use your experience to inspire learners into the health and social care sector, we'd love to hear from you.
What's on Offer
- Support to gain teaching qualification if needed
