About the Role

A further education provider in the East Midlands is looking for a Health and Social Care Lecturer to join their team. You'll deliver classroom teaching across health and social care qualifications, helping learners build the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress into the sector.

You'll work alongside a team of industry professionals, supporting learners through their qualifications and assessments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging teaching across health and social care.
• Assessing learning activities to support learner progression and achievement.
• Marking work, giving feedback and carrying out progress reviews.
• Maintaining accurate records for registers, attendance and awarding body requirements.
• Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current sector practice.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Occupational experience in health or social care
• A relevant qualification in health and social care
• The ability to engage and motivate learners of differing abilities

Desirable (but not essential):

• A teaching qualification
• Previous experience of teaching, training or assessing in a further education setting
