Salary: £60,170 – £65,582
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | 37 hours per week

Are you an experienced FE, education or SEND leader looking for a senior strategic role where you can shape inclusion across a large organisation?

We are recruiting for a Director of Inclusion to lead the college's approach to Inclusion, SEND and learner support across multiple campuses in Wiltshire.

The Role

You will provide strategic leadership for inclusion and SEND, ensuring learners can access, participate in and succeed in high-quality education regardless of their individual needs or circumstances.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing the college-wide Inclusion and SEND strategy
• Managing and developing multidisciplinary inclusion, SEND and learning support teams
• Driving improvements in attendance, engagement, achievement and progression
• Overseeing SEND, EHCP, ALS and high-needs provision
• Using data, learner voice and quality assurance to identify areas for improvement
• Supporting curriculum leaders to embed inclusive teaching and adaptive practice
• Ensuring compliance with SEND, funding and regulatory requirements
• Working with local authorities, families and external partners
• Leading improvement activity across multiple sites
• Supporting positive destinations and reducing NEET risk

About You

We're looking for an experienced educational leader with:

• Significant leadership experience within FE or a similarly complex educational environment
• Strong knowledge of SEND, Inclusion and Additional Learning Support
• A proven track record of leading strategic change and improving learner outcomes
• Experience managing and developing large teams, ideally across multiple sites
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, EHCP processes and funding
• Experience improving attendance, engagement and achievement
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills
• A recognised teaching qualification at Level 6/7 or equivalent
• A degree or equivalent professional qualification
• SENCO qualification or demonstrable SEND leadership expertise

Package

£60,170 – £65,582 per annum
Permanent, full-time – 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Based at the campus closest to home, with travel required across sites.
