About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering practical instruction and demonstrations in electrical and electronic engineering.
  • Supporting learners as they develop the technical skills required for their programmes.
  • Preparing workshop equipment, materials and resources ahead of sessions.
  • Assessing learners' practical work and providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintaining a safe, well-organised and productive workshop environment.
  • Working with colleagues to help learners achieve their qualifications and progress.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • A strong background in electrical or electronic engineering, gained through industry experience

  • A commitment to high standards of health and safety in a workshop setting

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Previous experience of teaching, training or mentoring
  • A teaching or assessing qualification

If you don't yet have teaching experience, that's not a barrier. Our client welcomes applications from industry professionals and can offer support including teacher training, mentoring and ongoing development to help you succeed in the classroom and workshop.
