Are you an experienced quality assurance professional with a background in digital, IT or computing qualifications?

About the Role

We're recruiting a Digital IQA on behalf of a multi-academy trust. You'll take responsibility for internal quality assurance across digital provision, making sure assessment practice is consistent, compliant and focused on learner outcomes.

You'll work closely with assessors and delivery staff, sampling their work, giving developmental feedback and acting as the key point of contact for awarding organisations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering internal quality assurance across digital qualifications and assessment provision.
• Sampling assessment practice to ensure compliance with awarding body standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting, mentoring and developing assessors to drive continuous improvement in assessment and learning.
• Preparing for and leading external quality assurance visits.
• Monitoring assessor performance and putting action plans in place where development is needed.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Experience in an IQA or quality assurance role within the vocational education sector
• A recognised Internal Quality Assurance qualification (e.g. CAVA, TAQA, V1, D34 or equivalent)
• Occupational knowledge of digital, IT or computing qualifications
• A sound understanding of awarding organisation standards and qualification delivery frameworks
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience leading or co-ordinating an IQA team
• Experience of apprenticeship delivery and end-point assessment
