Curriculum Manager - Creative, Hospitality and Bakery
Temporary | Contract
Location: the West Midlands
Start date: 12 October 2026
About the Role
A further education provider is looking for an experienced Curriculum Manager to lead its Creative, Hospitality and Bakery provision. You'll take responsibility for curriculum delivery across the area, supporting teaching teams and maintaining high standards for learners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the Creative, Hospitality and Bakery curriculum area.
- Supporting and developing teaching staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Monitoring teaching, learning, assessment and learner outcomes.
- Overseeing curriculum planning, quality assurance and performance against targets.
- Developing and improving the curriculum offer across the subject areas.
- Working closely with senior leadership, curriculum teams and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience as a Curriculum Manager, Curriculum Lead, Head of Department, Programme Manager or similar
- A background in one or more of Creative, Hospitality or Bakery subjects
- Experience of leading and developing teaching teams within further education
- Strong understanding of curriculum quality, improvement and learner achievement
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- A full teaching qualification
