Business Lecturer
Temporary
Location: the West Midlands
Are you an experienced business professional or lecturer ready to pass your expertise on to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in the West Midlands, delivering business programmes to learners working towards recognised qualifications. You'll plan and teach engaging sessions, assess progress and give the timely feedback that keeps learners moving forward.
You'll support learners of varying levels and abilities, building the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress into employment, apprenticeships or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across business programmes.
- Planning, preparing and assessing learning activities to support learner progression and achievement.
- Tracking learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Contributing to curriculum development so that content reflects current industry standards.
- Supporting learners in developing their skills and employability prospects.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant business subject
- Occupational knowledge and experience in business
- A genuine passion for teaching and passing on knowledge
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching or assessing in further education
