About the Role

A further education provider in the North West is looking for an Apprenticeship Manager to lead and develop apprenticeship provision.

You'll take responsibility for the quality of teaching, learning and assessment across apprenticeship programmes, leading a team of delivery staff and making sure learners progress and achieve. You'll use performance data to identify where provision needs to improve and act on what it shows.

You'll also work closely with employers, maintaining existing partnerships and building new ones so that programmes reflect what the sector actually needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the planning, delivery and development of apprenticeship programmes.
• Managing, supporting and developing the delivery team, including performance management and observations.
• Overseeing the quality of teaching, learning and assessment across the provision.
• Monitoring recruitment, retention, achievement and progression, and using the data to drive improvement.
• Ensuring provision meets funding, compliance and quality assurance requirements.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with employers and external stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Experience managing apprenticeship provision within further education or a training provider
• Experience leading and developing a team
• A strong understanding of apprenticeship funding, compliance and quality assurance
• Confidence using data to improve learner outcomes
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

Desirable (but not essential):

• A relevant Level 5 or above qualification
• A teaching, assessor or verifier qualification
• Experience of employer engagement and developing new provision
