Dovetail & Slate has confirmed a high-profile line-up of national voices in leadership, culture and innovation for its HR Leaders Conference Spring 2026, taking place on Wednesday 25 March 2026 at University College of Birmingham.
The event will feature guest speakers Guy Walker, CEO of Talentia Group; Baroness Sharron Davies, Olympic medallist, broadcaster, author and wellbeing advocate; Kieran Innes, CEO of Stribe; Nicola Perkins, Founder of FE HR Hub and Jules Quinn, Group Director of People Services at Milton Keynes College Group, bringing together expertise spanning high-performance sport, award-winning business leadership, artificial intelligence, employment law and people strategy.
The annual conference, for HR professionals in education and the wider public sector, will explore the critical themes shaping the future of workforce strategy: organisational culture, AI transformation, employee wellbeing and employment law developments.
Guy Walker, recently recognised as Recruitment Industry Entrepreneur of the Year, will lead a session on “Building Winning Cultures,” sharing insights from scaling an award-winning organisation known for strong values, high engagement and rapid growth.
Baroness Sharron Davies will take part in a featured in-conversation session, offering reflections on resilience, performance and holistic wellbeing. Drawing on her experience as an Olympic medallist and public figure, she will explore how leaders can embed healthier, high-performance habits across their organisations.
Kieran Innes will deliver practical insight into AI for HR Professionals, examining how artificial intelligence is transforming HR operations, behavioural insight and leadership decision-making.
Nicola Perkins FCIPD will present “AI is Easy. Culture is Hard,” focusing on the cultural readiness required to successfully adopt emerging technologies and sustain meaningful organisational change.
