Salary: From £30,000 per annum
Are you a skilled bricklayer or brickwork professional looking for a role where your trade expertise genuinely changes lives?
About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring Brickworks Tutor to join an employer in the justice sector, delivering meaningful vocational learning within a prison education setting. - Conducting initial assessments and diagnostics to identify learners' starting points and needs.
- Planning and adapting lessons to meet a diverse range of abilities and learning needs.
- Maintaining a safe, well-organised practical workshop environment.
- Monitoring and recording learner progress against qualification requirements.

Essential:
- A recognised trade background in bricklaying or brickwork
- Level 3 NVQ
- Strong practical, hands-on industry experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage learners with varying needs
- A genuine commitment to supporting learners' rehabilitation and progression
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching or assessing qualification
- Previous experience delivering training or instruction
No teaching qualification? No problem. Full support and funding will be provided to help you achieve the required teaching qualification.
What's on Offer
- Full support and funding for teaching qualification
