Teacher of Quidditch

Temporary | Contract

Location: the South West

About the Role

You'll join a school as a Teacher of Quidditch, planning and delivering engaging lessons that help learners build their skills, knowledge and confidence in the subject.

You'll work alongside an established team, assessing progress and giving the feedback and encouragement that helps students achieve. This post has a planned start date of 20 August 2026.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering Quidditch lessons to learners across a range of abilities.
  • Preparing resources and schemes of work for the subject.
  • Assessing learners' work and providing constructive feedback on their progress.
  • Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and move on to their next step.
  • Contributing to a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Quidditch
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to supporting learner progress and achievement

Desirable (but not essential):

  • A recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or DET
  • Previous experience working in a school or similar setting
