Site and Security Assistant
Permanent
Location: West Midlands
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in the West Midlands, helping to keep the site safe, secure and welcoming for staff, learners and visitors. This is a hands-on, on-site role supporting the day-to-day running and security of the premises.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and maintaining site security, including access control and keyholding duties.
- Carrying out regular site checks and patrols, identifying and reporting any issues.
- Responding promptly to security incidents, alarms and emergencies.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the site, including opening and closing procedures.
- Liaising professionally with staff, learners and visitors.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- At least 3 years' experience in a site, security or premises-based role
- Valid SIA license
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
