Psychology teacher
Temporary | Full Time
Start date: September 2026
Are you a Psychology specialist who can bring the subject to life and inspire students to achieve their best?
About the Role
A multi-academy trust is looking for an enthusiastic Psychology teacher to join their team from September 2026. You'll deliver engaging, high-quality lessons and help students build the subject knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.
You'll work as part of a supportive department, sharing ideas and resources and contributing to the ongoing development of the curriculum.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering effective Psychology lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, using data to inform teaching and provide constructive feedback.
- Providing pastoral support and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents and carers.
- Working with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and teaching resources.
- Creating an inclusive, well-managed classroom with high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- QTS or equivalent
- A relevant degree in Psychology or a closely related subject
- Secondary teaching experience, including teaching practice
- Strong subject knowledge, planning and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience teaching Psychology at A Level
- Experience acting as a form tutor
