Job Title: Lecturer – Plumbing & Gas
Location: East London Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £26,514 – £46,307 per annum (including London Weighting & market supplement)

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching across Plumbing & Gas programmes
- Develop schemes of work tailored to learners with varying abilities
- Use effective assessment strategies to monitor and drive learner progress
- Provide constructive feedback to support learner development and independence
- Track attendance, progress and achievement, implementing timely interventions
- Support learners with barriers to education in an inclusive environment
- Contribute to curriculum development aligned to industry needs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge through continuous professional development
Requirements
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
- Level 3 CAVA (Assessor qualification)
- Gas Safe Registration
- IQA Level 4 (desirable)
- 3–5 years' post-qualification industry experience
- Experience teaching in Further Education (ideally apprenticeships)
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship delivery and learner support
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
