NEBOSH Tutor
Temporary
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber
Start date: October 2026
Are you an experienced health and safety professional looking to pass your expertise on to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in Yorkshire and the Humber, delivering NEBOSH qualifications to learners developing their health and safety knowledge for the workplace.
You'll plan and deliver engaging sessions that reflect current legislation and industry practice, preparing learners for their assessments and for the responsibilities they'll take on in work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering NEBOSH teaching to further education learners.
- Planning lessons, schemes of work and assessment materials.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive, timely feedback.
- Preparing learners for their NEBOSH assessments.
- Keeping up to date with developments in health and safety legislation and practice.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A NEBOSH qualification
- Relevant occupational health and safety experience
- The ability to engage and motivate learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification
- Experience teaching or assessing within further education
