Multi Skills Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Start date: 3 November 2026
Are you an experienced construction professional looking to pass your trade on to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider, delivering multi skills training to learners working towards their qualifications. Across theory sessions and practical workshops, you'll bring your industry experience into the teaching environment and help learners build the trade skills employers are looking for.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging multi skills theory and practical sessions.
- Adapting your teaching to meet the individual needs of learners.
- Assessing learner work and tracking progress towards qualification completion.
- Producing learning resources to support the programme.
- Keeping accurate records and completing associated administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in a relevant construction trade or related discipline
- Industry experience you can draw on in the workshop and classroom
- The ability to motivate and support learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching or assessing qualification
- Experience of delivering training or supporting apprentices and trainees
