Temporary | Contract

Start date: September 2026

Are you an experienced motor vehicle professional looking to inspire the next generation of technicians?

About the Role

You'll join a training provider, delivering teaching, learning and assessment across motor vehicle programmes. Working in both workshop and classroom settings, you'll help learners build the technical knowledge and practical skills they need to achieve their qualifications and progress into employment or further training.

You'll plan engaging sessions that reflect current industry practice, and support learners from a range of backgrounds to get the most out of their programme.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across motor vehicle programmes.
• Planning and preparing engaging lessons and practical workshop sessions.
• Assessing learner progress, setting targets and providing constructive feedback.
• Providing academic and pastoral support to help learners achieve their goals.
• Maintaining accurate learner records and monitoring attendance and achievement.
• Promoting a safe, professional and industry-standard working environment.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• A relevant Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle (or equivalent)
• Industry experience within the motor vehicle sector
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Enthusiasm for developing and inspiring future technicians

Desirable (but not essential):

• A teaching or assessing qualification
• Previous experience of teaching or training in a further education setting

Teaching experience isn't essential. If you're coming straight from industry, you'll be supported with teacher training, mentoring and ongoing development.

Drive the next generation forward

If you're ready to pass your trade skills on to learners starting out in the industry, we'd love to hear from you.
