MIS Specialist
Temporary
About the Role
As an MIS Specialist, you'll support a further education provider with the accurate management, maintenance and reporting of learner and course data. You'll make sure records are complete, reliable and available to the teams who depend on them.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you'll help maintain data quality, produce reports and support compliance with statutory and funding requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and updating the management information system.
- Ensuring accurate data entry and strong data quality throughout.
- Producing reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Supporting statutory returns and funding data requirements.
- Providing guidance and support to staff using the system.
- Maintaining data security and GDPR-compliant handling of records.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience of working with MIS systems in an education setting
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of data accuracy
- Confident IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues at all levels
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
