Media Lecturer
Temporary

Are you an experienced media professional looking to inspire the next generation of creatives?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in London, delivering media programmes to learners preparing for careers in the creative and digital industries. You'll plan and deliver engaging sessions that combine theory with practical work, drawing on your own industry knowledge to help learners build the skills and confidence they need to progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering media lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive, timely feedback.
- Creating a safe, inclusive learning environment where learners are stretched and challenged.
- Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and progress into employment or further study.
- Keeping your industry knowledge current and reflecting sector practice in your teaching.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification in media or a related subject
- Industry experience within media or the creative sector
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of differing abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing in further education
