Media Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: London
Start date: September 2026
Are you an experienced media professional looking to pass your industry skills on to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in London, delivering teaching, learning and assessment across media programmes. You'll help learners build the creative and technical skills they need to progress into employment or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging sessions across media programmes.
- Planning and preparing lessons that reflect current industry practice.
- Assessing, reviewing and tracking learner progress.
- Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant media subject
- Subject knowledge relevant to the programmes you'll be teaching
- Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience teaching or assessing in further education
