Maths Teacher
Temporary | Contract
Start date: 16 October 2026
About the Role
You'll join a school to deliver engaging, well-planned Maths lessons that help learners build confidence and achieve strong outcomes.
Working alongside an established team, you'll be responsible for assessment, feedback and the day-to-day classroom culture that keeps students progressing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons.
- Differentiating lessons to meet a range of learner needs.
- Assessing progress and giving clear, constructive feedback.
- Supporting learners with exam preparation and attainment strategies.
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- QTS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting student achievement and progression
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience teaching at GCSE level
