Maths Teacher
Temporary | Contract
Start date: September 2026
About the Role
A school is looking for a Maths Teacher to join its team from September 2026. You'll deliver engaging, well-planned Maths lessons and support learners to achieve strong outcomes.
You'll be part of a collaborative department, working alongside colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom where every learner is encouraged to progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons.
- Preparing differentiated resources that meet varying learner needs.
- Assessing progress and providing clear, constructive feedback.
- Supporting learners with exam preparation and attainment strategies.
- Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development.
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- QTS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting learner achievement and progression
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4
- Experience contributing to curriculum or departmental development
