Temporary

Are you a business professional or experienced tutor looking to pass your expertise on to the next generation?
About the Role
As a Lecturer in Business, you'll plan and deliver engaging lessons across business programmes for a training provider, helping learners build the knowledge, professional skills and commercial awareness the sector demands.
You'll bring the subject to life through practical, industry-relevant teaching, adapting your approach to suit a range of abilities and learning styles. Alongside teaching, you'll assess work, give constructive feedback and support learners to achieve and move on to their next step.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging lessons across a range of business courses.
- Planning schemes of work, lesson resources and assessment activities.
- Assessing, reviewing and tracking learner progress.
- Maintaining accurate course and learner records.
- Embedding employability and workplace skills into the curriculum.
- Supporting learners to overcome barriers, achieve and progress.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Strong subject knowledge in business or a related discipline
- A Level 3 qualification or higher in your subject area
- Ability to engage and motivate learners
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience of teaching or assessing in further education
