Job Title - Lead IQA

We are seeking a highly experienced and quality-focused Lead IQA to oversee internal verification processes and drive excellence across our industry-focused training programmes.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and deliver the Internal Quality Assurance strategy across all designated training and assessment provision.
  • Sample assessment practices regularly to ensure full compliance with awarding body standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Mentor, guide, and support assessors and instructional staff to drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Plan for and lead external quality visits, acting as the key link between the organisation and awarding bodies.
  • Monitor assessor performance metrics and implement targeted action plans where developmental needs are identified.

Essential Requirements

  • Substantial experience working in an IQA or senior quality assurance position within the vocational education sector.
  • A formal Internal Quality Assurance qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, V1, D34, or equivalent).
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • In-depth understanding of awarding organisation standards, audit processes, and qualification delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills to effectively direct and motivate team members.
