Shape the Future of the Land-Based Industry!
Position: Land-Based Engineering Lecturer
Location: Hull
Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum
Basis: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Agricultural Engineer or Plant Technician looking to hang up the heavy tools and pass your expertise on to the next generation? You don't need to be a teacher to apply—we are looking for industry experts who have the passion to inspire.
Whether you've spent your career in the field with tractors and harvesters or in the workshop with heavy plant machinery, your real-world experience is exactly what our students need.
The Role
You will be guiding Level 1 to Level 3 students and apprentices through their journey into Land-Based Engineering. This isn't just a desk job; you'll be splitting your time between:
- The Workshop: Delivering hands-on practical demonstrations and supervising technical tasks.
- The Classroom: Teaching the vital theory behind the machinery.
Why You?
We aren't looking for a "seasoned academic"—we're looking for a pro. To be successful, you must have:
- Industry Experience: A strong background as a Land-Based Engineer, Technician, or Agricultural/Plant Machinery specialist.
- Qualifications: A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Land-Based Engineering or a closely related field.
- Communication: The ability to explain complex mechanical concepts to young learners and apprentices.
