Joinery Lecturer- Further Education
Salary: Up to £36,000
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:15-16:00 – Term Time Only
Annual leave: 13-14 weeks
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
Are you an experienced Joiner looking to pass on your skills and inspire the next generation? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a rewarding teaching role within a supportive college environment.
As this is a term-time only position, you'll benefit from 13–14 weeks off each year — giving you the flexibility to enjoy a better work-life balance or return to the tools during college holidays.
The Role:
- Teach Joinery programs to KS4 and KS5 learners.
- Differentiate learning to meet individual needs, including learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs, and/or learning difficulties.
- Deliver engaging lessons and practical sessions
- Support curriculum development & employer partnerships (where relevant)
- Create resources and assess learner progress
Requirements:
- A Level 2 (or higher) qualification in Joinery.
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Some kind of teaching experience.
