IT Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: London
Start date: September 2026
Are you an experienced IT professional looking to pass your technical skills on to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join a further education provider in London, delivering teaching, learning and assessment across IT programmes. You'll help learners build the technical knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress into employment or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality sessions across IT programmes.
- Planning and preparing engaging lessons that reflect current industry practice.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance, progress and achievement.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A degree or Level 3 qualification, or equivalent, in a relevant IT subject
- Subject knowledge relevant to the programmes you'll be teaching
- Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience teaching or assessing in a further education setting
